Dear Reader –

I use my passion for philosophy to coach the kumquats in the apple basket to recognize the value they bring to the table in relationships when they express their unique flavors and textures. 

I founded 24 Karat Coach in order to help characters blaze a path through society that was fitting of their personalities and their ambitions.  Whether that meant starting a business so that they didn’t die in cubicle wonderland or finding a partner who could appreciate their uniqueness, I wanted to be a part of their success by helping them understand themselves better and by helping them express that understanding clearly and concisely to the rest of the world.

Like some of you reading this, I am a kumquat, too!  So, I understand what it is like to be on the outside looking in.  When I was in high school, I was made fun of by my classmates because I was gay.  Even though I was socially accepted in college, I found myself on the outside looking in again, because of my refusal to take math. . . despite what the rules said!  In an attempt to avoid the subject, I transferred more times then I would care to recount.  Even when I graduated and joined the workforce, I didn’t take the pre-determined path.  Within a year of graduation, I was off and running with my own business, flying by the seat of my pants and hoping that my efforts would amount to something.

Though I do not believe my business will ever stop growing, there is no doubt in my mind that it is maturing and looking more and more like the dream I had of it when I started out on this path less traveled.  I believe that is because I started my company with a vision that derived from my purpose, values, and my passions. 

My Vision:  I would like to see a society come about where everyone has the freedom to search for their own personal truth and the integrity to embrace that truth, live by it, and allow others to do the same. 

My Purpose:  To coach single business leaders to develop lasting relationships that help them get ahead personally and professionally.

My Values:  I believe that without respect, integrity, and truth nothing can ever be certain.  That is why my business is based off of these 3 main values.   I believe that my clients and associates deserve respect.  I believe that good business people conduct themselves with integrity and follow through on the things they say they will do.  And, I believe that each person knows inside him or herself what is true and right for him or her.

My Passions:  As a coach, I embrace and utilize my passions, and my clients are better off for it.  I am passionate about philosophy, which helps clarify the scope of the topics being discussed in session.  I am passionate about the topics of “influence” and “persuasion,” which, when applied to sales, produces incredible results for my clients.  And, I am passionate about seduction, which helps my romantic relationship clients keep their love lives fresh and exciting.

Regardless of why you are at this page right now, please ask yourself whether you are really happy with your life.   If you were to die tomorrow, would you feel that your life had been fulfilling and look back on it smiling, or would you have regrets, concerns, and lost chances?  If you would not be completely content, may I ask that you start making the changes by looking inside yourself and see if you are outwardly expressing who you actually are?  If you are a kumquat, like me, please do not hide from it.  Being truly unique is a wonderful gift, and it should be shared with the world.
